Business Community Endorses Delozier for State House

New Cumberland, PA -- Three top business organizations representing thousands of state businesses threw their support today behind Sheryl M. Delozier, the Republican nominee for State House in the 88th District, located in Cumberland County.

The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB.com), Pennsylvania Chamber of Business and Industry (PAChamber.org), and the Harrisburg Regional Chamber of Commerce (Harrisburgregionalchamber.org) endorsed Delozier.

“Our economy grows when our business community prospers, I understand that these groups and their members play a vital role in the continued strength and prosperity of our community,” said Delozier. “I am honored and pleased to have their support.”

NFIB State Director Kevin Shivers praised Delozier's pro-business views. "My members are small business owners, and they want someone like Sheryl who understands their concerns, who will fight for main street by working to make Pennsylvania more business friendly."

These endorsements reinforce Delozier’s belief that business taxes need to be held in check, and in many cases, reduced. “Pennsylvania businesses do not need an increased tax burden, such as the Rendell and House Democratic Caucus healthcare plan, but instead need to be given the tools to grow their business, make more investments in our community and create more family sustaining jobs.”

A mother of two and wife of a police officer, Delozier and her family reside in Lower Allen Township.  In addition to her almost 16 years of service to the people of Pennsylvania, Delozier has also been a community leader and victims’ rights advocate.

Earlier this month Delozier released her 7-point Ethics & Accountability Plan for reforming the Legislature.

The 88th District is comprised of Lower Allen, Upper Allen and Monroe townships, as well as the boroughs of New Cumberland, Lemoyne, Mechanicsburg, and Shiremanstown, along with a portion of Wormleysburg.
